I am a sweet boy who was dumped unceremoniously in front on an unsuspecting person's home. Luckily, the person who owned the home was nicer than the human who left me behind, and she brought me in, is caring for me, and contacted Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue about finding me a new forever home, one with a human who understands pets are family. I am a calm, friendly guy who would be a great companion cat. Come visit, and see for yourself.

Adopting a cat from SAPCR

To begin the adoption process, please fill out our adoption application form. This interactive form can be filled out online and submitted electronically; or alternatively it can be printed in PDF format, manually filled out and then sent to us via fax, email or personal delivery. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Adoption Requirements

You must be 25years of age or older.
Have photo identification showing present address.
You must be willing and able to invest the time and money necessary to provide proper care for the pet.

Vetting

All of our cats and kittens receive health screenings which include flea prevention treatment, deworming, ear mite treatment, age appropriate vaccinations, combo testing for FeLV and FIV, and spay/neuter surgery prior to adoption.

Adoption fee and other costs

The addoption fee is $150.00, though Save A Purrfect Cat Rescue (SAPCR) reserves the right to increase the fee for purebreds or any cat deemed necessary.
The estimated minimum costs associated with supporting a cat annually are around $600 per cat on average.
